I am K.Subramanian, son of Mr.P.R.Krishnamurthy Iyer of Periyapalayam Village. We have our Restaurant 'Geetha Cafe' in front of the Imuktheeswarar Temple/Periyapalayam Bus Stand.
The Imuktheeswarar temple is a very old temple and placed on the bank of the Aranyar River.
Sri Bhavani Amman Temple is a very famous Devi temple is situated on the otherside of the river at Periyapalayam and it has a well known story about Saint Parasuram and his mother Mathangi Amman.
I may be contacted for any news about this on my email id ksm@lntenc.com.
